This product is used as an anti-caking agent in foods like spices that are powdered. Silicon dioxide can also be found in baking mixes including flour. It is also known as synthetic amorphous silica (SAS), is a common thickener, anti-caking ingredient, and carrier for flavours and perfumes in food products.
